Most van fires are electrical. A safe DC system is methodical: every load fused at source, every cable sized to its current, every metal box bonded to chassis ground, and a proper LiFePO4 BMS or AGM bank with a battery monitor. Treat 12V with respect – at high amps it absolutely will start a fire.
